Ode to Abby

My cute little Yorkie Abby is the cutest dog you could ever hope to have. Here's a poem I have just written about her.

My dog Abby is a great dog.
When it comes to food she's a big hog.
She'll eat and eat until she's full.
Then at my leg I'll feel a pull.
I want some more she's trying to say.
Don't throw the rest of your dinner away.

My dog Abby is a great dog.
She sleeps at the end of my bed like a log.
When she sleeps she has a smile on her face.
She couldn't be in a happier place.
But when she wakes another smile I see.
Abby is trying to get more food from me.

My dog Abby is a great dog.
When life is confusing and I feel like I'm in a fog.
My Abby is there to guide me through.
I couldn't ask for a better friend than you.
She can always tell when I'm sad.
At my dog Abby I can never stay mad.

My dog Abby is a great dog.
She chases away squirrels and groundhogs.
She's always ready to fight or play.
She lets me win any time of day.
I love my Abby the most I can love.
She's surely been sent to me from above.
